The waffle I received was pre-cooked and warmed up and the butter was frozen. It was very hard to cut through, I asked for white toast and it was burnt. The Syrup was nice, and the strawberry’s were good. The waffle overall tasted fine.
Good food. A little pricey, but all around is worth it. Has the best coffee of any diner around I've been to
Service was good, food was served quickly. We had pancakes and eggs Benedict. Food was good, coffee hot, nice experience this morning!
The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge but pricey. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The set-up is very tight but I guess its pretty common in the Philly area. Most of the good diners and restaurants in this area are very tight in space and loud. I’ve learnt it’s more of the area culture and when you live here it definitely grows on you. I will be going back here more often and I highly recommend this diner for anyone who wants to eat delicious food and have a great dining experience.
Friendly atmosphere, delicious food, aisle a little bit narrow have to be mindful when standing up and putting your coat, making sure nobody is at your back and wants to pass.
Absolutely love this place! The strawberry and nutella french toast is my favorite with a side of their thick cut bacon. A must try! Make sure to make reservations because this place fills up fast.
This place is very hoping. Had to wait for seats. The food portions are perfect for a snack a little later in the day.
Great French toast, nice little spot. Some nice home made goodies will be trying next time.
Excellent breakfast. Home fries are delicious! Beautiful tasty breads. Minimalistic but chic decor. They are COVID19 compliance oriented 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍
Breakfast at noon I can say it doesn't get any better than that. Food came out piping hot was delicious and appetizing also plentiful. Staff was on top of everything and we never had to ask for anything. Kudos and thank you for your awesome service.
Cute restaurant. Nice environment. Creative menu. Good food and excelkent service.
This place is designed to me exactly what the name says a classic nostalgic Diner experience. They also have some sort of bizarre Millennial torture fetish where avocados are sold at a market price. Finding out what the market price is is difficult. I'm a licensed Securities Trader and I had to fit a market order to find out the daily price of avocado toast at the Classic Diner. Why was I willing to put up with all that? The food was out of this world. This place is just delicious and the service is good. All-around recommended
Luv luv the Classic Diner... it’s located in PA where I worked on a long term project in healthcare. Wish we had this type of diner located near home. It has a great team of staff (waiters, host, cooks), not to mention the menu was unlike a diner offering great specials daily, and home made Apple and Berry pies inPremise. Missing you but great memories I will cherish.
I had to drive around two hours to reach this place which my friend recommended to me. Everything was amazing in this place people, food and the coffee. The food was fresh, and clean. People were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
The food was very good, but we had a long wait, and the hostess sat another family ahead of us even though we were there 10 mins before they were. Also, the seating is cramped and the room is loud. I'd go back, but there are other places in Malvern I'd prefer
Breakfast options are really good. They do serve the food pretty fast. If you are looking for some quality food eaten in lesser time, this is the best place to visit
Absolutely delicious. Great service. Always a special place to go.
Food is incredible! Service team very nice and prompt. Seating is a challenge with 6'+ family members!
Great food and good ambience
I usually enjoy classic diner and their food, always knew their prices were a bit high, but to charge $2 for a slice of american on my scrambled eggs is uncalled for. The menu said 11.95 and my receipt said 12.95. What was the discrepancy there? And an additional upcharge $1.25 for onions in my 5 home fries.
Very nice place, staff is very kind and very good quality food. Perfect for breakfast. I always been here for breakfast & brunch and they are super good.
Food was excellent,it was a weekday breakfast. Service could of been a little faster. Had to ask for a refill on coffee. Alot of additions where add ons. Like cheese to omelet, peppers to home fries. Although pricey I would return.
This restaurant was cozy and just nice. It's a little pricey but they dont hold back on the food! And the food was yummy and the service was so friendly! Don't live in the area so this restaurant was recommended to us. You wont regret it!!
Super delicious high end breakfast place. Almost never eat here since their parking lot is super small and it's always full on weekends. Small parking lot and adsurdely expensive menu lead to 4 stars instead of 5.
Love it here! Always a great meal with friendly service! Keep up the great work!
The best diner ever. We all loved it. Especially the kids
The food was good,😉However, the menu was weird to me. Everything is pretty much ordered&billed separate. 😑 They also have a very cramped dining area as soon as you walk in to the left, where you're forced to practically eat on you're neighbors table😲 I guess they thought that it would get hot cramped there, because the air was cranked on like we were in the center of August. 🤤🙊.
Never have I been disappointed here. A little pricey but amazing food, coffee and service. Splurge for the bacon....you won't regret it. This is the place I choose to wake up at 4am to eat at today....what's an extra hour of sleep when you can have this!
Great food, well presented. Staff is great. Very busy at weekends. Worth it for sure.
Not a typical diner. It's a step up with special thought to each dish with all flavors are amplified. Even a simple dish such as steel cut oats with mint and a touch of salt just brought out all the flavors. The decor is transitional, with clean lines and neutral colors - whites, shades of grey and black; lovely . Wait service is all smiles, pleasant and helpful. Thanks Jamie!
My family and I came here to celebrate a birthday in our family. The food was very tasty. The service was great. However, it was a little cold inside because of the flow of patrons in and out. Also the women’s bathroom does not have a locking mechanism so you’re forced to hold the knob to ensure no one walks in accidentally.
Loved the sticky buns, scrambled eggs and apple sausage. Great coffee. Great service. All at a price that's appropriate for the high quality of the food and service.
Horribly tight tables make seating uncomfortable. Food is ok but certainly not for the prices. It seems like they are going for upscale dinner which doesn't work without better food and room to eat.
Looks like a stylish take on a diner. But this is NOT a diner. It is fine dining quality food set in a diner setting. Staff @ breakfast is super friendly. The food quality is excellent and the portions are very generous. The prices are a bit high for where this is located. But it is certainly worth the visit.
Great food and excellent service. Staff is always very friendly and attentive. Great place for breakfast and lunch.
Food was absolutely delicious, and filling. Walked away stuffed. Only negative is it's tiny so it's cramped
Best place for a brunch in malvern area.
Great food. Great service.
Been to this place several times. The last time was it.We went to lunch and asked to sit in a booth the host said no it’s for four people and we sat at a table for two. Several minutes later same host sat a couple in the booth for four people. The waiter took our order only time he came to the table. He never came back we had to request from the host items like a spoon and refill of coffee. I noticed the same host at the station on his phone most of the time and several other employees just hanging out. We finally had to get up go to the register and ask fo our check. The service has been lacking however the food is good.Update 5/28/2020-provided receipt by email and crickets chirp....chirp....chirp plenty of time given the pandemic to get back to me.
Love coming here! Their baked goods that I've had have been delicious and fresh. The only thing on the menu that I absolutely avoid is their chicken. Every time I've had the panko crusted chicken, it's scarily rubbery and unnatural in texture...I think it may be where they source the chicken from, and I don't want to take any risks with it! Everything else on the menu is very delicious and made well (I especially love their French toasts and eggs Benedict)! Be aware that if you want all the fixings, you'll probably rack up quite a bill--but it's worth it!
Great food, service and atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Awesome breakfast sandwiches. They offer to go beverages without needing to ask. We will definitely be back.
Love the oatmeal-it’s like eating a dessert. Always a great breakfast and the nicest servers anywhere.
Fantastic place.. We've been going here for years and food has never disappointed us.. They could use new items on the menu.. But then again why break it if it already works!
Always the best! Although "Diner" is in the name this is more like an upscale Bistro. Fantastic food at a good price. It is consistently excellent!
Was once so much better. I am thinking it changed hands as all of the employees look changed. It’s expensive. $7.50 for 4 slices of bacon which are nothing special. $4 for fries which maybe hand cut but just average. Will not be coming back
I love the classic diner @westchester and wish to be at each one of these around the city !Just like the other location, Malvern is a cozy and a homely feel being served by a family.... loved the waffles and the juice, Benedict which is a standard brunch order for me and my boyfriend. Amongst all the places been, we love to go to diner back for the taste and the experience :)
Food was good. Service was poor and it's so loud in there. Only had my glass refilled once during entire meal. I had iced tea and apparently the server poured coffee in my iced tea first, dumped it out and just put in tea. Tasted like a glass of ice coffee with mint.
Great local eatery for breakfast and lunch! Menu is small, but you should be able to find something you like. Food is top notch, and the portions are huge. Don't overlook the humble BLT, they have great bacon (and you can buy some uncooked and bring it home). There is also a small bakery counter as well. Prices are a bit high, but commensurate with the quality. The only thing you'll be wanting is for the place to stay open for dinner as well, and perhaps for it to be a little bigger.
This is a small bistro type place. It has unique and specialty foods as well as staples like sandwiches, soups, salads. Food was good, chicken soup homemade, tomato mozzarella salad was pretty, and taste was mostly good.Chicken salad made in processor with grapes, maybe a sweet flavor, (cranberry?),that wasn't my favorite way.Waitresses nice, seating table, bench type primarily.
Loud, uncomfortable seating, and expensive for the quality and portions given. Could have been the wrong time, but it didn't live up to the hype.
